Research has shown that children acquire the basic capabilities that prepare them for later success in school and in life in the first five years. Children who attend preschool are better prepared academically and socially to enter kindergarten.
For more than 20 years, Astrid's Preschool has been helping 3 and 4 year olds develop their gross and fine motor skills, improve their language and communication abilities, excercise their creativity and create environmental awareness, all while learning ENGLISH.
... Because early education matters!
World Water Day is celebrated on March 22nd. It’s important to talk about water because it is vital for all of us.
We take action by teaching the children about it’s importance and how to conserve it. For example: closing the faucet when washing your hands #wateraction#worldwaterday
You can do this too! Your actions, no matter how small, can help solve the water crisis:
💧Take shorter showers
💧Create a raingarden
💧Buy local, seasonal food
💧Turn off the tap
💧Clean up your local river, lake or beach
On March 19th, we celebrate International Read to Me Day @readtomeday in an effort to share how important reading is for children’s intellectual and social development.
We wanted to share these quotes with you because reading DOES make a difference and we want to make every day #readtomeday. Everyone can help, all you need to do is read at home! 😉
As proud ambassadors of this movement, we are hosting “Read To Me Week” in our Ocean Classrooms. Everyday one parent will come to read to the children 🤓📚
As we go through our second week of class we want to thank you for your cooperation! Specially during pick up 🥰. It has gone more and more smooth each day.
Thank you parents, you are THE BEST! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
